Dorothy Maclean was one of the founders of the Findhorn community in Scotland. Her contacts there with what she came to see as the devic or angelic realms that over-light all aspects of existence, helped its legendary gardens bloom on most unpromising soil.
Many of the messages from the devas were first published in a number of books and pamphlets from that community, some still in print. Dorothy's earlier autobiography, To Hear the Angels Sing, now republished, contains many of her communications with not only the essences of plants, but with minerals, animals and groups of humans too.
In her new book, Choices of Love paper, Lindisfarne Press, Dorothy talks in a more detailed way about her own inner practices and attunement to the Beloved. She gives suggestions for the reader's own practice, and for the first time in print, information she has received from the over-lighting presence's of cities and countries.

Diana Cooper was born in the Himalayas in 1940 and came from a background which was neither religious nor spiritual. She spent the first 42 years of her life in the soul sleep of ignorance. Then at the deepest point of despair about her pending divorce, she cried out for help from the Universe.
An angel, a 6ft golden being of light, came to her and took her out of her body. They flew together and she experienced many things, being taught telepathically by the angel. At last they flew over a hall full of people covered in rainbow auras and she mentally asked if she was down there in the audience. The angel indicated that she was on the platform and must prepare for this role.

Why angels Why angels? Lord knows. Many tasks have been assigned to them in Jewish
and Christian tradition, in folklore and folk theology. People have been
guessing at it for 4000 years, probably longer. One good way to see it is
by way of the so-called "Tess theory". It's named after the angel
played by Della Reese in TV's "Touched By an Angel"; Tess speaks this idea many times
in the series : angels are sent by God to bring the truth, especially the
big truths, to specific people in critical situations. The biggest truth (the one that Jesus Christ was living,
dying proof of) is that God is with us and for us, and the angel
is here as a part of that. God's message can be a warning, or be a comfort in times of danger and fear. Since God is way too much for us to take, the
messenger is sent in God's stead, like a diplomatic envoy. What happens
then is between humans and God. Angels are not usually there to be meddling
fix-its, but our helpers in responding to the truth. Angels guide us in the way God wants us to go, sometimes calling
us to take
a specific action. Angels can celebrate and have joy, and presumably other emotions
as well. They do not die, since they are spiritual beings. They even pray for us, as did the angel in Zechariah (1:12). They are among
the 'things unseen' that the Father is said to have made in the Nicene Creed. They exist to praise God and bear the message and task for which God sends them. And they appear to people of all religions, or even of no religion at all, when God wants them to listen.
